Don't Be a Sheeple

George calls out the merchants who blame "nobody will give me a loan" without ever checking whether their own business is positioned to qualify. Here's what actually gets a file funded, and why today's no is sometimes just a not yet.

Unfiltered takes from someone who’s seen it all.

DON'T BE A SHEEPLE.

What is a sheeple?

It's someone who hears something on the internet, believes it, and never stops to ask whether it actually applies to their business.

I talk to merchants every single day who say:

"Nobody will give me a loan."

That's not necessarily the problem.

The problem may be the current state of your business.

Get Positioned Before You Go Looking

Before you go looking for funding, make sure your business is actually positioned to qualify for it.

Here's what that means:

  • Have a dedicated business bank account.

  • Make sure your business revenue is deposited into that account.

  • Don't commingle personal and business funds.

  • If your credit is less than perfect, understand what products are actually available to you.

  • Make sure your revenue supports the amount of funding you're requesting.

For example, if your business generates $5,000 a month, asking for $200,000 in funding is probably unrealistic.

You're not just wasting the lender's time. You're wasting your time, your funding company's time, and valuable time that could be spent finding a realistic solution for your business.

Look Inward, Not Online

So instead of saying:

"Nobody will help me."

Look inward.

Ask yourself:

"Is my business actually positioned for funding?"

If you want help figuring that out, reach out to me. I'll help you understand the key factors lenders look at and what you can do to position your business for future funding.

Final Thoughts

Because if funding isn't available now, that doesn't mean it's never available.

It's not always NO. Sometimes it's WHEN.

That is all.

You Don’t Need the Right Lender, You Need a Stronger File

A business doing $5,000 to $10,000 a month keeps applying for $200,000 loans and getting rejected. George breaks down why the fix usually isn’t finding a better lender. It’s building a stronger file.

That’s Not a Funding Problem. It’s a Preparation Problem.

A merchant wants $150,000 for a fishing boat with no revenue, no credit, and no money down, then asks why nobody will finance him. George explains why that’s not a funding problem. It’s a preparation problem.
