MY POLITICAL PARTY IS ENTREPRENEUR.
When I say that to a merchant on a phone call, here's exactly what I mean.
When you start talking to me about politically charged reasons why you can't get funding for your business, I'm not going there.
This isn't a Democrat or Republican issue. It isn't about who's in the White House. It isn't about the current administration.
It's about the state of your business.
My Political Party Is Entrepreneur
I support small-business owners. I believe in championing entrepreneurs and helping them move forward, grow, create jobs, and build something they can be proud of.
I'm a Gen Xer. My parents were Boomers.
For their generation, the traditional path was often to become a company man or company woman. Work for the same organization for 30, 40, maybe 50 years, and eventually retire with the gold watch.
That world has changed. Today, people who want to build something, make an impact, and create wealth often choose entrepreneurship.
Most Entrepreneurs Don't Have Unlimited Capital
We're not all Carnegies, Rockefellers, Musks, or Bezoses.
There are people like George Wisniewski who want to build something, create a legacy, and create generational wealth.
So what do we do? We open businesses. We serve customers. We build teams. We reinvest.
And sometimes, despite doing everything right, we need capital to get to the next chapter.
Maybe you're a seasonal business and you're heading into your slow season. How do you make payroll? How do you keep the lights on? How do you support the people who depend on your business?
Sometimes the answer is funding.
It Has to Be the Right Funding
But here's the important part: it has to be the right funding.
Maybe that's a merchant cash advance as a short-term bridge. Maybe it's a line of credit. Maybe it's equipment financing. Maybe it's something completely different.
And maybe the answer is: you shouldn't take funding right now.
Maybe there are problems inside your business that you can't see because you're too busy working in the business every single day. That's where an outside perspective can help.
Sometimes you need somebody to tell you the hard truth: "You're not ready yet. Here's what you need to fix."
And that's okay. We don't have to do this alone.
Tell Me Everything
When I say "my political party is entrepreneur," I'm telling you that I'm on your side of the table. I'm here to help you figure out what's actually possible.
Tell me everything. Treat me like your priest. Treat me like your lawyer. Tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Then we'll decide together what information should go out to lenders, as long as it's 100% the truth.
No politics. No excuses. No BS.
Just your business, the facts, and the right strategy to help you get to the next chapter.
Final Thoughts
My political party is entrepreneur.
And if you're an entrepreneur, we're on the same side of the table.
That is all.
